Een reis door onze bluesgeschiedenis
Sinds 2011 staat Bluesworld Café in het teken van live blues.
Door de jaren heen hebben ontzettend veel bands en muzikanten bij ons op het podium gestaan. Van jonge talenten tot gevestigde namen, van Nederlandse bluesbands tot internationale artiesten.
Sommige avonden waren gewone bluesavonden. Andere werden bijzondere mijlpalen: de 200e, 250e, 500e, 600e en 650e uitzending, CD- en EP-presentaties, speciale projecten en optredens van bands die via de Dutch Blues Foundation bij ons terechtkwamen.

Van de eerste optredens in 2011 tot de bands die vandaag nog steeds bij ons op het podium staan.
Van B Morris en Hubble Orkestar tot The MarbleTones, Blues Treat, Veldman, Raymunda, Robbert Duijf, Electric Hollers, Dudley Taft en al die andere bands die in de loop der jaren hun muziek met ons hebben gedeeld.
We hebben verhuizingen meegemaakt.
We hebben corona overleefd.
We hebben jubileums gevierd.
We hebben CD’s en EP’s gepresenteerd.
We hebben bands mogen ontvangen die later grote stappen maakten.
En bovenal hebben we heel veel mooie avonden gehad.
Soms was de zaal muisstil.
Soms ging het dak eraf.
En soms gingen gewoon de voetjes van de vloer.
Maar iedere avond heeft zijn eigen herinnering.
Dit is ons muzikale verleden.
En zolang de blues blijft klinken, blijven we nieuwe hoofdstukken toevoegen.
